Paintings on Silk All of my paintings start out as a piece of natural undyed Chinese silk.  They are all my own original designs and are each painted individually by hand.  I do not use screen printing or any form of mass production, and so each one is a unique piece of art.  Paintings are either mounted on foam core which can be framed in a conventional frame, with or without a mount, others are supplied stretched over a wooden frame with canvas behind. These are supplied with hanging cord ready to hang.  They should be hung away from direct light as over time this could damage the silk.
