A long silk chiffon scarf 11″ x 60″ hand- painted in shades of  orange, teal and brown with a seventies vibe.

Painted by hand on silk Chiffon with Dupont Silk dyes, this is a genuine original design by Janet and signed by the artist.  Long enough to tie in numerous ways.

The design is first outlined with a waterbased outliner which is set before painting begins.  When all is dried overnight the shawl is wrapped in cotton and steamed to bond the dyes to the silk.  It is then rinsed several times, the final one being with hair conditioner to make sure it feels beautiful and soft. It is then ironed dry at which point it is ready to wear.

Will be despatched wrapped in presentation box, ready for giving or keeping to yourself.
