This is an original Painting on Silk of Tulip fields Near Amsterdam.  It is signed by the artist.  The silk is mounted onto canvas, ready to hang and protected with several coats of matt varnish to protect it from UV rays.

The painting is worked on stretched silk using a tecnique with a coloured outliner to control the flow of the dyes.  Once the work is finished, the silk is steamed to set the colours before it is mounted and varnished.
